DescriptionJOB RESPONSIBILITIES Review and underwrite mortgages, verify flood coverage and zones, verify all aspects are within Federal regulations.
Review title opinion and appraisals for errors, and coordinate with lenders for the correction of those errors.
Verify accuracy of loan ratios.
Verify correct input of HMDA information and loan information.
Determine escrow, complete corresponding paperwork, and verify HUD.
Confirm completion of loan packages, Post Close loans, verify compliance, and update corresponding spreadsheets.
Train lenders, answer phone inquiries, provide explanation of policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Ensure all actions performed are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE Position normally requires High School diploma/GED with some continued education consisting of specialized courses in such subjects as accounting, business communication or banking as represented by a standard A.

Over two and up to four years of loan related banking experience.
Knowledge of bank loan policy, products, and Federal regulations, as well as familiarity with titles and deeds.
Demonstrative PC skills with working knowledge of Word and Excel.
Ability to handle large volumes of work in a deadline-based work environment.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent oral, written and telephone communication skills.
Ability to lift and carry 30lbs.
WORKING CONDITIONS Works in a production-oriented atmosphere.
Works under limited supervision based on demonstrated proficiency in carrying out assigned responsibilities.
