Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Working within a comprehensive institutional advancement strategy - plan and execute a development plan, which includes identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of major gift donors ($10,000+), while working independently and/or collaboratively with volunteers. Meet or exceed annual fundraising goals specified for amount raised, contacts, number of successful solicitations, etc. Manage a major gift prospect base of between 125 to 150 qualified major gift prospects. Conduct 200
face-to-face visits per year. Execute a minimum of 30 to 35 contacts per month with at least half comprising personal, direct contact. The Senior Advancement Director must be able to travel 40% of the time, including overnight and occasional weekends. Document contacts and adhere to policies and procedures for accepting, recording and acknowledging gifts. Work closely with Alumni, Advancement and Public Affairs offices to maximize the fundraising potential of the university through participation in events or meetings. Perform stewardship of endowment scholarships for designated college and/or program.

Responsibilities:
Supervised by the Vice President of Advancement and coordinating closely with the Dean of the Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine (KYCOM):
Plan, secure, manage and evaluate new, renewed, and expanded partnerships that strengthen and drive the support for UPIKE and KYCOM's mission. Meet performance measures and evaluate effectiveness of all projects. Build a pipeline of donor-centered major and planned gift prospects, ensuring they are cultivated in an appropriate and deliberate manner leading to the solicitation of major gifts. Develop strategic relationships among faculty, staff, alumni, volunteers, friends, students, corporations, foundations and campus colleagues that result in effective partnerships and increased philanthropic funding Oversee and coordinate donor-centered events in support of KYCOM. Ensure timely, accurate documentation of contacts and cultivation strategies, proposals, pledges, fund agreements, etc. Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Account Management, Sales Management & Operations, SalesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
