REQUIRED:
2 years experience required, 5 years preferred.
1 Year of Travel Experience
Associate s degree in nursing required. Bachelor s degree in nursing preferred.
RN license required. CPR required
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS EKG required.
DESCRIPTION:
Assesses and Reassesses young adult, adult, and elderly patients and applies the nursing process to:
Demonstrates basic competency in specialized procedures/equipment i.e.
Cardiac Monitoring
Care of patients Pre/Post CABG
Care of patients Pre/Post Interventional Cardiac Procedures
Maintain/Pull sheaths
Angioseal/Vasoseal
Specialized medications/drips/Titration
ACT Machine
Sedation
Pain Management
Chest Tube care/insertion
TPN/PPN
KODA
Central Lines
IV therapy
IVADD
Infusion Therapy
Information Management
Boomerang
