Summary:
Plan, develop, coordinate, and monitor the development, implementation, training, evaluation, and maintenance of assigned projects. Coordinates and facilitates communications with areas that interface with the Clinical and Physician Services areas as they relate to automated healthcare information systems.

Essential Functions:
Works closely with Nurse Administration to develop, review and implement revisions to policies and procedures as they relate to clinical systems and their use.
Participates on various Clinical Department committees assigned.
Coordinates, develop and implement training curriculum and in-services associated with the use of Information Systems related to Clinical and Physicians Services. Coordinates the assurance of proficiency within clinical service areas and interfacing services for each new application installed to ensure applications are utilized for maximum efficiency. Supervises assigned personnel to ensure projects and training programs are implemented as planned.
As the primary liaison between IT and clinical areas of the hospital, facilitates and supports change within the (Facility) Health System network.
Demonstrates commitment to continuous learning for themselves and staff.
Demonstrates and applies continuous quality improvement knowledge and skills.
Communicates Information Systems installation/production information to the proper department personnel in a timely manner.
Utilizes the knowledge and skills of clinical practice to determine clinical functions that are suitable for computer/automated system applications.
Assist in the development, implementation, education, evaluation, maintenance and coordination of clinical and physician information systems.
Researches the actual implementation of systems to assess system effectiveness and satisfaction to ensure patient confidentiality and system security.
Participates in the selection of new clinical systems, and assists others in developing criteria for application development, project planning, hardware, and consulting services for clinically related systems.
Takes immediate action to meet customer requests or needs.
Supervises assigned personnel.
Demonstrates excellent organizational skills and the ability to grasp new concepts quickly and produce new techniques from those concepts that can be utilized throughout the system.
Demonstrates an understanding of computer and technical skills as well as a good understanding of hospital operations and procedures.
Collaborates with health care professionals using automation to ensure appropriate, effective usage and understanding of Information Systems.
Acquires information, completes worksheets, completes and reviews file builds and any other activities required to tailor departments to meet system requirements. Presents reports as needed.
Willingness to accept other job duties and responsibilities as they are assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must be knowledgeable of clinical information systems, nursing processes, and methods Experience with technical and clinical components of clinical information systems. A minimum of three-years' experience in patient care as a user of an electronic clinical application. Requires an in depth understanding of the requirements and workflow of the clinical environment. Informatics Certification is desired.

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. A minimum of one-year experience at a health care institution of similar size and complexity. Must have a thorough knowledge of clinical practices and principles, which is gained through graduating from an accredited school, university, or college. Informatics Certification is desired.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
