IT Training Analyst
Reports to: Director/CIO Department: Information Systems

JOB
Summary:
Responsible for preparing, conducting, and evaluating all IT training programs. Writes literature and materials to be used in programs and designs exercises to enhance lectures. Conducts classes regarding any IT supported application.
Essential Functions:
1. Prepare and conduct technical training programs.
2. Researches and studies advancements in educational technologies and methods; evaluates effectiveness of training and development programs, utilizing appropriate data collection instruments and procedures.
3. Recommends and/or implements innovative solutions, modifications and enhancements to technical instructional delivery and presentation methods based on best practices.
4. Participate in cross functional project teams.
5. Assess training needs and certification requirements.
6. Deploy training to targeted personnel.
7. Prepare training material and classroom agenda.
8. Provide end user training for team members.
9. Conduct presentations and webinars.
10. Create instructor materials (course outlines, background material, Instructional materials, and training aids).
11. Assist in design of computer-based and multimedia curriculum.
12. Continuously enhance technical instructional delivery and presentation skills.
13. Mentor other instructors in the subject matter, content, and course delivery techniques for assigned technical courses.
14. Ensure the quality and consistency of course content throughout a course life cycle.
15. Test process with different subjects.
16. Manage the training program in accordance with business needs, regulatory requirements, and Quality Management System.
17. Plan and direct classroom training, electronic learning, multimedia programs, and other computer-aided instructional technologies, simulators, conferences and workshops.
18. Adheres to dress code.
19. Functions as a preceptor to orient new employees.
20. Meets all departmental specific competencies.
21. Adheres to medical center policies addressing infection control, safety, and personnel guidelines.
22. Demonstrates knowledge of and compliance with the medical center code of conduct and applicable corporate policies and procedures.
23. Maintains patient confidentiality and treats patients and families with respect and dignity.
24. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned or requested.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills. Ability to interpret educational needs and develop effective instructional media solutions. Extensive working knowledge in designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating training plans, curricula, and methodology. Skilled in developing computer based training (CBT) using tools Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Skilled in analyzing target audience and presenting ideas in a clear, concise manner. Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Project management and presentation skills and the ability to resolve complex problems and issues. Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on rapport building, listening, and the ability to deliver effective training programs. Demonstrated ability to train adult learners and novice computer users required. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a complex environment.
EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:
Associate Degree is required, and Bachelor's Degree in a technology-related profession is preferred. A minimum of 2 years of experience working with IT technology.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
